When everything feels urgent, the problem usually isn't the load. It's that none of it has been sorted. D.I.R.T. is a four-step method for getting what you're carrying out of your head and onto a target you can actually aim at.
Stress rarely arrives labeled. It arrives as a single undifferentiated weight where a staffing decision, an unanswered email, and something you said to your kid last week all carry the same apparent urgency. Nothing gets resolved because nothing has been separated.
D.I.R.T. is built for exactly that state. It doesn't ask you to feel differently about the load. It asks you to sort it, then shows you what the sorted version looks like.
Everything you're carrying, out of your head and onto the page. No filtering, no ranking, no editing for how it sounds.
Each item gets named for what it actually is, which is where most of the apparent urgency starts to come apart.
Sorted by what you control and what actually matters, plotted onto the D.I.R.T. Target so the shape of the load becomes visible.
Quadrant by quadrant, the plan comes out of the picture rather than out of willpower. You leave with a specific next action, not a resolution to try harder.
D.I.R.T. was built for two rooms: clinical sessions where a client is overwhelmed and can't say why, and leadership resilience training where a team needs a repeatable method rather than a motivational talk.
It works in both because it makes no assumptions about the content of the load. It only structures how the load gets handled.
The model is also being built as a guided web tool that walks a person through all four steps, visualizes the result on the D.I.R.T. Target, and produces a printable report.
A shared version is planned, where a coach or clinician can send the assessment to someone, then walk through the results together.
Available for leadership resilience training, clinical use, and one-on-one work. Reach out to talk through the fit.
